Job Description:

1. Drive, develop, and implement effective manufacturing and In-process quality control processes and activities to support NPI and production.
2. Provide Manufacturing Engineering support for the successful NPI into Operations through concurrent engineering practices, new technologies and methods.
3. Lead manufacturing efforts to ensure new product designs meet Design-for-Manufacturability (DFM), Design-for-Assembly (DFA), Design-for-Environment (DFE), process FMEA requirements
4. Develop manufacturing process plans and procedures to meet production and quality goals and objectives. Ensure the Production meets manufacturing goals and objectives.
5. Assure that effective and efficient processes are documented, implemented, and comply with the Company standards and all regulatory requirements.
6. Write, review and approve ECOs and deviations. Perform First Article Inspection (FAI) for NPI, ECO, Deviation and Rework.
7. Manage and drive "line down" issues caused by negative quality.
8. Drive RCCA for specific quality issues driven by customer, RMA data or Relights. Initiate CAR as needed.
9. Drive for continuous quality improvement by setting up Quality Improvement Team (QIT) consists of teams from EMS. Set up weekly quality meeting to track and monitor progress on continuous improvement activities and CAR at EMS.
10. Develop customer specific quality reports required, interface with RSYS sales, RSYS BU, and customers to report current situation and in some cases continuous improvement activities.


Requirements:

1. Min 8 years’ experience in manufacturing/process engineering, deep understand PCBA manufacturing process & system integration. Manufacturing engineer or process engineer experience a plus.
2. Work in an electronics manufacturing/integration environment with a proven track record of experience managing manufacturing process and quality control at EMS provider.
3. Demonstrated experience in NPI (DFM/DFA/DFE/pFMEA), assembly instructions and BOM structure for boards & systems.
4. Strong working knowledge of PDM/ERP/Shopfloor systems, ECO/Deviation processes
5. Must be customer focused, but also willing to work with supply chain partners collaboratively to drive continuous improvement for the long term.
6. Demonstrated experience in creating 8D reports, 5 why process, and RCCA (Root Cause Corrective Action)
7. Strong interpersonal skills, and ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously.
8. Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
9. Familiarity with ISO9001 and/or TL9000 audits and process maintenance
