Job Description:
- Align organization to market needs
1. Establish application technology strategy for ICS Asia according to regional business road maps
2. Improve technical team structure and knowledge management tools for effective use of resources
3. Build up application/technical service lab in Singapore based on strategy
4. Establish technical competence centers and concept in Asia (PC+IHC)

- Provide leadership for development of new products
1. People development to establish application expertise and innovation strength in the organization
2. Project prioritization and steering according to road maps, KPI´s; clear targets and milestones
3. Drive input from global application development to support regional business with innovations and know how
4. Identify customer needs to be served with regional production capabilities; opportunities for local MPP/EOD

- Facilitate an effective communication within the unit
1. Assign clear responsibilities and goals to individual people; individual cross-ICS responsibilities
2. Run application know how development as a team task with common targets; everybody trains the team
3. Use a project and know how management tool to support communication
4. Technical interface between regional and global teams and activities

- Ensure effective promotion of services and products
1. Technical customer visits and initiation of development partnerships with customers
2. Build up of technology network in Asia, cooperations with universities and institutes as multiplicators
3. Regular technical communications of products and developments in journals, at conferences

Requirements:
1. Master degree or MBA in Science / Chemistry background
2. > 5 years in a regional technology role with staff management experience
3. Thorough expertise in applications related to IA or CC.
4. Project management experience
