Responsibilities:
1. Lead team composed of BU and CCE team members on commercial projects on for example pricing, customer and sales management, marketing strategy,…
2. Identify core issues and improvement areas by using existing CCE approach and tools but adapting them where needed to make them applicable for the BU
3. Synthesize findings, develop and discuss recommendations with BU management
4. Drive implementation jointly with BU management and be thought partner and coach during roll-out
5. Build capabilities within the sales organization through leading workshops, trainings and coaching
6. Act as a change agent to drive changes in mindset within the commercial organization
7. Track impact during implementation through frequent reviews and identify corrective actions where needed

Requirements:
1. Technical degree in chemistry and business degree preferred
2. Minimum 3 years professional experience, ideally in R&D with significant customer exposure, Marketing & Sales, project management, controlling or management consulting
3. Excellent analytical skills (SAP, Excel (pivot tables) and graphics) along with ”hands on mentality“
4. Conceptual thinking to define/adapt relevant frameworks and approaches
5. Excellent communication and presentation skills in English (German and other languages desirable)
6. Persuasive but empathic change leader who can coach, drive and motivate people
7. Strong project management experience, dealing with multiple levels and functions in the organization to create buy-in and alignment
8. Strong commitment and drive to make things happen
9. Open minded, results oriented, flexible and motivated
10. Comfortable working in cross-cultural teams across different functions and hierarchies
11. This position is based in Shanghai, but with frequent travel to different regions worldwide
