The Materials Manager is responsible for the execution of policies, practices, and administration of Planning, warehouse and custom clearance in facility. And provides the necessary instructions, guidance, mentoring and assistance, as well as audits the performance of each member of the material team. Works with team of global, AP and other facilities in China to strengthen material function.

Responsibility

1.Drive and improve the order fulfillment which includes master scheduling, material planning, production planning and procurement to meet on time delivery to customers. In this process this position should work closely with customer and business unit to understand customer requirement and delivery right message for customer negotiation. And internally this position should well cooperate with engineering, quality and production department to drive order delivery on time.
2.Working with sourcing team to Improve profitability through sourcing and supplier development, supplier cost reduction, and supplier lead time reduction. Identifies new low-cost but capable supplier sources for key commodities and subcontracted processes.
3.Improve warehouse management by defining process and policies and conduction audit to make sure physical and system data integrity. Drive the inventory turnover rate to drive production efficiency through lean project.
4.Coordinate and supervise custom affair to meet business need and local law and regulation.
5.Benchmarks market data and trends for Southco key commodities and subcontracted processes, including availability, price, capacity, and lead times.
6.Working with sourcing team for supplier technical support and quality improvement-use different kind of tools to lead sourcing engineering team to improve supplier quality continuously
7.Team management to develop team's capability and skill in sourcing, planning and SAP knowledge.

Requirement
1. B.S. in Engineering or Business Management
2. Minimum 10 years experience in Supply Chain, international experience a plus
3. Communication, problem solving, organizational,and planning skills
4. Experience with flow/lean manufacturing
5. SAP knowledge
6. Fluent English.
