Responsibilities:

1. Identify single source or sole source material use by the site and co-ordinate the sourcing, negotiation and qualification of an alternate source. Pre-quality new sources.
2. Obtain quotes, samples for component parts, based on prints, samples, and specifications provided by the requester; provide drawings and spec interpretation.
3. Organize, analyzes, and present quotations to requesters.
4. Conduct plant survey / audit on manufacturing capability, capacity, product assessment, financial stability.
5. Provide sourcing / negotiation support of Asian sources for Excelitas sites
6. Provide support in expediting project progress and implementation.
7. Manage supplier to make ensure sample are on time and related documents can meet company’s requirement; drive sample approval.
8. Continuous cost improvement through process and technology improvement for specific commodity.
9. Lead sourcing projects in assigned commodity, mechanical, sheet metal, stamping, ceramic, etc.
10. Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:
1. Minimum 5 years experience in different kinds of commodity sourcing and LTA experience in multinational manufacturing company;
2. Bachelor degree or above with major in Engineering, Business or related discipline
3. Must be an energetic self-starter, focused on completing tasks without close supervision
4. Demonstrate success in problem solving, as well as product and process analysis
5. Strong interpersonal and communication skills
6. Strong negotiation skill
7. Knowledge of ISO9001/ISO14000/TS16949
8. Well understanding process of material qualification and supplier audit
9. Willingness and ability to travel up to 40%.
10. Experience in Optoelectronic and Optics industry is preferred
