A well-
established consumer product company servicing USA retailers is looking for a
qualified person to join the Engineering Department in our Shenzhen office.

Senior Project Engineer
– Consumer & Non-consumer products

Areas of Responsibilities:

• Handle all
  project engineering processes from prototyping to production.


• Communicate and
  resolve all product, quality and performance issues between vendors and
  clients.


• Coordinate
  testing, determine product reliability and safety. Recommend any necessary
  changes and manage the implementation of the changes.


• Actively manage
  new product timelines and ensure that vendors are on-track to meet
  committed ship dates.


• Review new
  vendor facilities as required. Assist vendor in developing engineering
  & production capabilities when needed.


• Provide
  technical support to vendors for smooth operation.


• Prepare engineering document for
  costing and operations.


• Conduct cost and failure analysis
  for product improvement.


• Respond technical enquires to
  customers and liaise with factories.

Requirements:

Degree in Engineering or
equivalent required, preferably mechanical

• At least 5-10 years working
  experience with plastic, electronic and metal


• Strong technical skill with
  experience in costing and tooling


• Familiar with toy quality and
  safety requirements for US, Europe and other international markets
  preferred


• Good command of English,
  Cantonese and Mandarin (written and spoken)


• Proficient in Microsoft Word and
  Excel


• Self-motivated, with strong sense
  of commitment and able to work under pressure and overtime


• Well organized, with good
  interpersonal and communication skill
