Report to : Chief Accounting Officer

Major Responsibilities :

·     Proactive to anticipate and react to the changes in accounting standards and disclosure requirements

·     Oversee the implementation of Group/local projects on required accounting standards (eg IFRS 9) and disclosure requirements (Basel III)

·     Actively participate in new product due diligence process

    Provide professional accounting opinions/views on strategic/new products/new business initiatives

·     Act as accounting advisor to businesses and FIN senior management on technical accounting matters in compliance with relevant accounting standards and Group accounting policies

·    Oversee the Bank’s accounting policies in compliance with relevant accounting standards.

·     Interface with external parties (such as external auditors) on the disclosure requirements in financial statements

·     Undertake relevant control measures to minimize the risk exposure (eg accounting risk) of the Bank

Incumbent Requirements

·  Bachelor degree or above in Accounting, Finance, or Economics background

·  Minimum seven years’ experience in professional accountancy firms is preferred

·   Well versed with IFRS and China Accounting Standards as well as banking products

·  Professional with strong analytical and critical thinking

·  Strong communication and negotiation skills with self-motivation and accountability as well as the ability to work under pressure and independently

· Proficiency in both Chinese and English, with good knowledge of PC application software.
