Job Purpose:
The Member Services Officer is responsible for providing support to Head of Membership, China and Business Development Manager, Learning and Student Development in developing and implementing the member and student services strategy, aiming to provide high-quality services to ACCA members and students and further enhance ACCA’s influence through working with a wide range of strategic partners. This post will help to organise a series of events which aim to develop members’ and students’ professional success, enhance the value of membership and strengthen ACCA brand recognition among stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Support Head of Membership, China to organise a range of high-profile events for members, including the Annual Conference, joint-events with CCMI, CEIBS, etc;
2. Support Head of Membership, China in maintaining an active relationship with strategic partner organisations such as Big Four, consultancy companies and various Business Schools in order to continuously strengthen ACCA brand recognition;
3. Provide high-quality services to members through organising New Member Reception, CPD events, Salons and networking events (including online events) to better engage members;
4. Be responsible for undertaking the member and student services admin work, including registration, exam entry, member application, maintaining the member and student online communities (QQ groups), answering members’ and students’ enquiries, undertaking member and student retention campaigns, actively engaging affiliates and promoting ACCA membership value proposition;
5. Support Head of Membership, China in maintaining the momentum of the South China Steering Team as well as the ACCA China Professional Expert Forum.
6. Provide high-quality services to students including organizing new student orientation, online pre-exams workshops, student outing.
7. Work closely with colleagues in Employers, Marketing and Student Services teams and undertake marketing/promotional activities as required.
Key Metrics (financial and/or non-financial):
Member retention rate and satisfaction rate.
Member new intake target met.
Number and quality of events organized for members.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
? A bachelor degree with at least 3 year solid working experiences on event management, marketing, PR and customer services.
? Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build relationships with colleagues and external contacts/clients at all levels.
? Excellent presentation and sales skills.
? Excellent proficiency in English writing and speaking.
? IT proficiency and good working knowledge of computer applications, particularly MS office.
? Self-motivated, proactive with strong sense of responsibility, great team work spirit and good attention to details.
? High level of integrity and self-discipline.
