Our Shenzhen design studio based in Shekou is expanding with work in China. The studio is seeking a General Manager Assistant to oversee the day to day running of business.
Responsibilities:
1. Maintaining office systems, including daily website update, file management and general office environment;
2. Organising and maintaining diaries, making appointments and corresponding on behalf of the technical staff;
3. Keeping the technical staff informed of current industry information of China;
4. Carrying out background research and presenting findings;
5. Preparing translation, taking notes and minutes;
6. Producing documents, briefing papers, reports and presentations in bi-lingual format;
7. Organising and attending meetings and ensuring the technical staff are well-prepared;
8. Meeting and greeting visitors at all levels of seniority and liaising with clients and suppliers and other staff;
9. Arranging travel and occasionally traveling with the Director to take notes or translate at meetings or to provide general assistance during presentations.
Requirements:
1. Excellent proficiency with English;
2. Positive and energetic disposition;
3. Time management and organizational skills;
4. Ability to work unsupervised.
