Detailed job description:

New Products:
- Responsible for supporting the Chief Technical Officer (CTO) in conducting technical pre-studies.

New Product development projects:
- Responsible for both managing and participating in the development projects, for example:
o Managing the R&D team within Hardware, Software Mechanics and Artwork
o Join the R&D team in the development, testing and documentation.
o Manage the pre-production samples, conduct field tests with customers and handle possible corrective activities.
o Handle tests and validation (legal and customer based).
o Documentation of projects.
o Reporting of projects.

Production:
- Responsible for preparing the production, for example:

o Introduce the projects to Bellman & Symfon’s manufacturers in China and to support the start-up of the mass production.
o Safeguard the mass production qualities and once the product qualities are assured, handle the project/product over to the purchasing department of Bellman & Symfon.


Profile searched for:

Education:
- Required education: Master of Science in Electric Engineering (M. Sc. E.E) or similar.

Working experience:
- Required experiences:
o Minimum 6+ years of qualified experience from working as a HW engineer doing;
? Product specifications;
? Circuit designs of analogue and digital technologies;
? Circuit layouts;
? Design of tests (ICT);
? Design for manufacturing;
? Mechanical verification and environmental test of electronics;
? Documentation of development deliverables and production documents

o Minimum 3+ years of extensive and documented successful experience from relevant project management (electronic consumer products or medical devices with embedded software).

This experience preferably includes:
? To lead the development, testing and documenting of:
? Electronics
? Industrial design
? Mechanics
? Software
? System functionalities for new and existing products.
? Test and validation (legal and customer based).
? Certification and approval processes.
? Industrialization in China.

- Preferred experiences:
o Altium, or Cadence Orcad (capture and PCB-editor)
o Development of embedded software;
o Design of audio (Hi-Fi) products
o Assignment in small or medium sized Western company.
