Job Purpose:
This position forms an integral part of the ACCA Guangzhou Team. The role provides support to Marketing Manager Shenzhen to achieve ACCA’s key strategic objectives of ensuring focussed market share and membership growth. The main responsibilities are to promote ACCA qualification and brand to potential students and to build ACCA’s profile with leading employers and government bodies in the market.
The reporting line is to the Marketing Manager in Shenzhen.


Key Responsibilities:

Marketing
1、 Monitor and report on all relevant developments in the accountancy profession and the business community in Shenzhen
2、 Work closely with local universities and ALPs to promote ACCA to both university students and working adults
3、 Maintain close relationship with governmental bodies and marketing partners in co-branding events and maximise ACCA brand in Shenzhen market
4、 Assist on national and local press release preparation to implement and promote the ACCA brand

Employers
1、 Identify and build up relations with potential key employers in Shenzhen
2、 Promote ACCA’s approved employer programme in the region in order to generate interest in the scheme and secure approvals under the scheme
3、 Assist Marketing Manager to provide value-added service to approved employer by conducting in-house talk, technical training, information sharing and inviting senior management from influential employers to speak and attend ACCA event
4、 Execute employer lead events to raise the profile of ACCA with key employers

Members
Assist Member/Student Services team to organize events in Shenzhen

Students
Answer daily enquiries from students and prospective students and provide other routine services to students
Assist the Member/Student Services team in the organisation of the events in Shenzhen

Others
Undertake any other duties assigned by marketing manager

1、 Number and quality of services provided to employers
2、 Employers’ recognition of ACCA and satisfaction on working with ACCA
3、 Number and quality of events organized
4、 Number of new relationship established


Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

1、 A bachelor degree with at least 3 year solid working experiences on marketing, sales, PR and event management. Background on accounting and finance is preferred.
2、 Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build relationships with colleagues and external contacts/clients at all levels.
3、 Excellent presentation and sales skills.
4、 Excellent proficiency in English writing and speaking.
5、 IT proficiency and good working knowledge of computer applications, particularly MS office.
6、 Self-motivated, proactive with strong sense of responsibility, great team work spirit and good attention to details.
7、 High level of integrity and self-discipline.
