学术交流处主管Supervisor (Office of Academic Links) (Ref # 2015/022/01)

Introduction
The Office of Academic Links (OAL) is a critical function of the University to foster and build international partnerships by visiting partners overseas and receiving interested parties at home, promote the University outside China, promote and implement international academic exchanges, and participate or organize international events on campus or elsewhere. It is an indispensible function as the University strives to build a top rated global academic environment.

Position Specification
Applicants should (i) possess a Master’s degree preferably, at least one degree from a recognized foreign university ; (ii) have at least 3 years relevant working experience, especially experience in coordinating with foreign cooperation partners; (iii) have excellent communications skills in English and Chinese, both written and spoken; strong proactive crisis management skills; (iv) understand international higher education systems and principles; study and/or work experience in foreign countries.

Duties include (i) assisting the supervisor in working out and executing international exchange programs proposals and agreements; (ii) communicating with the established partners as well as potential partners in an effective and efficient way; (iii) promoting international academic exchanges by coordinating visits of international scholars; providing assistance to visitors in terms of obtaining their entry visa to destination countries; (iv) assisting to organize international events on campus or elsewhere; and (v) completing other assignments as stipulated by the management.

Salary & Benefits
Salary will be competitive, commensurate with qualifications and experience. Appointments will be made under the establishment of CUHK(SZ) and statutory benefits will be provided according to the prevailing labour laws applicable in the PRC. The appointee will be based at the University campus in Shenzhen, PRC.
