Job Description
The construction manager is the person responsible for planning, co-ordination and control of a construction project from its inception to the time it is completed. He/she is responsible for ensuring that the client’s requirements regarding the functionality and standards are met. He/she is also responsible for ensuring that that the construction project is concluded successfully. The construction manager is responsible for dealing with any delays that may happen in the construction site, emergencies or other events that may occur.
Duties and Responsibilities
1. Planning, directing and coordinating the construction project
2. Overseeing the entire construction project or part of a project
3. Scheduling and coordinating all types of design during the construction process
4. Overseeing the work done by the contractors
5. Overseeing the construction workers and their immediate supervisors
6. Ensuring that the project is completed within a specified time
7. Evaluate quality of construction materials and work with sourcing team to determine the best source of construction materials
8. He is responsible for scheduling and estimating the time required to complete the project
o Monitoring and directing the progress in the construction site
9. Overseeing the delivery of materials, construction tools and equipment
10. Controlling the quality of GC work both during and after construction period. Inspecting the site at completion. List areas for corrections (issuing the “punch list”) and follow through on correction work.
11. Ensuring that the construction resources are used well
12. Ensuring that all safety precautions are adhered to by the construction workers
13. Monitoring the compliance with set regulations
Skills and specifications
? Must be attentive to detail
? Possess good communication skills.
o Must be able to communicate in English and Mandarin
? Must have good coordination skills
? Proficient in Microsoft office and other project management software
? Familiar with CAD. Able to review, create, and adjust site plans.
? Lives and works in Beijing or Tianjin
Education and Qualifications
? A degree in one of the following areas:
o Construction Management
o Project Management
o Architect
o Civil Engineering
? 7 year’s industry experience AND 2 year’s project management experience
? F&B construction experience is an asset

该职位负责一个建筑项目的各个阶段，从项目导入到完成。包括：计划、协调以及项目的控制。她/他要保证客户的标准以及项目功能要求得以实现，以使得项目得以顺利完成。
他/她也要经手处理现场的各种突发情况，管理各种可能引起项目延迟的情况。
职责范围：
1） 计划、引导以及协调建筑项目
2） 监督整个（或者部分）建筑项目
3） 计划以及协调项目的设计
4） 监督承包商的工作
5） 监督现场工人的工作以及他们的主管
6） 保证项目按预计完工
7） 评估各种建材的品质，与采购团队合作，确定合格的供应商
8） 负责估算和计划工程时间
9） 监督以及指引工作现场的进度
10） 监督现场的物料、工具以及设备的到场情况
11） 在工程之中以及完成时进行品质管理。工程竣工以后，进行验收，列出“纠正点”，并且跟进完成纠正。
12） 保证现场工人严格遵守安全措施
13） 监督保证符合各种法规
技能和要求

o 包括中英文的读写说能力
? 强大的协调能力
? 熟练运用微软OFFICE软件和相关的项目管理软件
