What the job covers
? Generating targeted cold sales leads to ensure a consistent effort in approaching and converting new business opportunities, as agreed in the APAC Business Development Plan
? Networking opportunities due to movement of clients and potential new clients
? Ensuring that a relationship database is regularly updated with lead generation and conversion

? To ensure that we continue to grow our business and enhance our position as a leading regional brand design and execution agency
? To ensure that we develop our presence in the China (Shanghai/Beijing) market
? To assist in the achievement of the APAC Business Development Plan
? To ensure that we maintain an up-to-date relationship database of current and potential clients
Reporting & Communication Structure
? Reporting to the Regional Business Development Director
Tasks
? To work with the Business Development Director in developing sales approaches
? To research and prospect potential clients in China (Shanghai/Beijing)
? To approach prospective clients by email/ telephone/ mailings and set up sales meetings
? To target potential clients in a bright, insightful and engaging manner
? To work alongside the Business Development team to ensure you’re aware of all projects and information, which could lead to new business activity.
? To assist in preparing sales presentations.
? To attend various sales meetings as and when required.
? To pro-actively share contacts, points-of-view and any other sales related information with the Business Development team
? To work with other members of the Business Development Team to develop initiatives, mailings and other sales collateral as required.
? To set and own targets in terms of number of approaches per week, number of ‘quality’ credentials meetings per month and actual converted projects.
SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE
Academic & Professional:
? Above 3 years sales-related work experience in agency or FMCG/retail industry (business development or client servicing)
? Good understanding of advertising, marketing, creative and production
? Knowledge of creative advertising development and related terminology, production and electronic processes.
? Possess a Bachelor’s Degree, Post Graduate Diploma or Professional Degree in Communications/ Business/ Marketing or equivalent
? Strong ability in PPT
Functional:
? Excellent oral and written English communication ability
? Strong project and team management skills
? Ability to manage multiple projects at any given time
