JOB SUMMARY: In this highly visible role, you will have an opportunity to make a significant impact on Beats Products by leading a team of Quality Engineers responsible for assuring the highest quality standards for Apple products. You and your team will work in conjunction with product design, manufacturing operations and our suppliers to develop and execute systems and procedures for measuring, assessing and evaluating all areas affecting the quality of Apple products for which you will have assigned responsibility.

Our quality engineering teams are an essential part of our ability to create impossible products on a massive scale. They work in tandem with product design and manufacturing engineering to develop measurement techniques, control strategies and appropriate information systems and methods to assure the achievement of better than world-class specifications for our products. We partner with our suppliers in implementing appropriate quality systems, methods and equipment to enable very aggressive schedules

KEY QUALIFICATIONS:
? Min 10 years of Manufacturing and Quality engineering experience in Asia with Min 5 years in management role
? Experienced in development of product and process control plans, quality audits, and metrology systems and techniques.
? Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills, with good English with cross functional teams
? Logical thinking and decision making in extremely fast paced and high pressure development environment
? Deep knowledge of quality management systems, quality procedures, and the application of typical quality tools in a manufacturing environment (e.g. MSA, FACA, SPC, Yield Analysis, and etc)
? Detailed knowledge of statistics and statistical process control.
? Solid knowledge of GD&T and hands-on experience applying GD&T principles in actual work.
? Direct experience with typical soft goods and mechanical mfg. processes (i.e gluing, cutting, embossing, finishing, machining, moulding, stamping, etc.)
? Strong data analysis skills, ability to utilize data analysis tools to solve design and manufacturing issues. ?

DESCRIPTION:
? Lead teams based in multiple supplier sites in Asia
? Establish priorities and project assignments for the quality engineering team members
? Develop personal and professional development plans for MQE team
? Responsible to raise and communicate Quality Alerts to cross- functional stakeholders as required.
? Roll lessons learned into New Product developments
? Implement rigorous Root cause Failure Analysis and Corrective Action disciplines at supplier’s factories and have the ability to solve complex Quality problems in a high-pressure environment.
? Review Engineering Drawing and provide feedback/proposal to the product development (PD) team.
? Develop metrology and measurement solutions for complex part measurement.
? Design gauges and measurement fixtures, and drive their qualifications.
? Conduct Measurement System Analysis to manage the measurement errors.
? Drive process capability analysis (FAI/Cpk) data collection, verify the data integrity and work with PD on spec negotiations and disposition.
? Help set quality cosmetic standard

EDUCATION:
? BS in Electronic or Electro-Mechanical Engineering with 6+ years of relevant working experience in quality or equivalent. MS degree preferred.
