Responsibilities:
1. Responsible for (electronic) system concept , concept evaluation and test engineering, engineering document control, qualification and validation of all parts and products;
2.Interface with customers to ensure product concept and functional requirements are clearly communicated;
3.Review embedded software and verify compliance with software design intent.
4.Communicate effectively with internal departments; vendors and supply chain on part sourcing, pricing and specifications etc.;
5.Trouble shooting of any conceptual issues on new products during development stages and start up of production;
6. Responsible for corrective actions on any technical problems related to new product concepts;
7. Provide suggestion on technical standards for test protocol on new product concepts / components (chargers, batteries, motors)
8.Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, Value Engineering, DFM and DFA;
9.Manage and confer with design & development to clarify or resolve problems and develop design;Manage analysis of data to determine feasibility of product proposal;
10.Manage analysis of test data and reports to determine if design meets functional and performance specifications;
11.Lead concept development team to bring the new product concepts through commercialization (prototype complete phase) on-time, on-quality, and on-cost;
12.Manage the evaluation of engineering test results for possible application to developments of systems and other uses;Ensuring the product meets all safety and legal standards;
13. Liaise and negotiate with key electronic suppliers/subcontractors engineering staff, and evaluating suppliers technical competency to meet performance, reliability, and quality requirements.
14.Ensure the new product concepts comply with technical and cost specifications and are capable of economical manufacture;
Ensure the new product concepts are consistent with the product plan as well as meeting project needs;
15.Project technical risk management – identify risk levels using other formal methods, assign resource to mitigate / eliminate risks, systematically verify risk mitigation, ensure risk management process is thoroughly documented.

Qualifications:
1.BS degree in Engineering or equivalent combination of experience, training and education
2.8+ years of engineering experience in a regulated manufacturing environment;
3.Some experience developing and updating a Master Validation Plan and validation documents including: IQ's, OQ's, PQ's and other validation life cycle documents;
4. Knowledge in electronic and electro-mechanical engineering;
5.Some experience with GMP and continuous improvement activities utilizing lean tools such as: SMED, TPM, 5S, Value Stream Mapping, Kaizen events, etc.;
6.Stationed in PRC 5 days a week;
7.Fluent in English communication
