Report to : Head of Risk Identification & Policy

Major Responsibilities :

· Screen credit proposals independently and provide input on risk assessment.

· Scrutinize exceptional reports, past due / limit excess reports and other control reports and market information for monitoring purposes. Propose remedial actions regarding customers with irregular features on a pro-active manner.

· Conduct review for customers with potential high-risk indicators and alert business units and credit approvers with recommended courses of action when appropriate and ensure the credit approvals are adhered to the Bank’s prevailing lending policy & guidelines.

· Collaborate with business units and credit approvers to formulate account strategy and to monitor whether remedial action had been taken properly and timely.

· Compile ad-hoc reports to evaluate our exposure for particular risk control purpose.

· Alert and Advise negative information on corporate and market customers from credit agencies

Incumbent Requirements :

· University degree in related discipline or other professional qualifications

· Minimum 8 years related working experience in credit risk, credit audit, and/or business function

· Sound knowledge on local compliance and regulatory environment in banking industry

· Analytical-minded, possess strong business and credit sense & judgment and able to cope with pressure and tight deadlines

- Proficiency in both English & Chinese with knowledge of PC application
