Position Description

Scope of Position:

• Work as a member of a project team on various projects for Corning Shared Services and its internal customers (businesses and functions).
• Types of projects include upgrade projects related to PeopleSoft Finance, PeopleSoft HR, SAP and various business Supply Chain systems, deployment of these systems to new locations, integration of work into Shared Services Centers, process improvements and cost reduction projects.
• May lead smaller projects of the type listed above.

Day to Day Responsibilities:

• Process analysis using PEx tools (Process Flow Diagram, SIPOC, Data collection, etc)
• Finance and/or Payroll system configuration and setup
• PS and/or SAP system testing and troubleshooting
• User training
• Process documentation

Travel Requirements:

• Up to 75% travel (some international) may be required depending on project assigned.

Hours of work/work schedule/flex-time:

• Normally 40 hrs/wk. Extended days/weekends required, depending on project phase and status. May be required to participate in teleconferences during off-hours for projects in other regions/time zones.

Education & Experience

• Bachelors Degree
• 1-3 years experience in Finance or Shared services
• 1-3 years experience with PeopleSoft Finance, PeopleSoft HR, SAP or Supply Chain (beyond basic user level)
• Project experience

Required Skills
