职位描述

Title: Key Account Mgr

C. Key-result areas

1. Maintain and seek to improve the company´s competitive position and profitability through business growth and development of relationships with key customers in an assigned territory of large current ccounts, and target accounts.

2. Participate willingly in all sales team activity and work at all times with a focus on overall team success.

3. Prepare an annual Sales Plan for all segments within the assigned sales territory, in line with Herc China´ s overall strategy

4. Achieve forecasted sales, revenue, financial and productivity targets for existing and new major clients in the territory by following the Sales Plan,

5. Gain a thorough understanding of each customer in the portfolio and its business, identifying the way the customer works, what they expect from Herc China and, what opportunities exist to grow and extend Hertz offerings and services provided to the customer

6. Establish close relationships with decision makers and client stakeholders at all levels

7. Develop and manage strategic account development plans for each key account; develop customer focused strategies to continuously grow the business

8. Actively seek to grow business and market share within each key account for mutual benefit

9. Plan and conduct frequent meetings with key stakeholders within each key account to ensure that the account is running efficiently and effectively, and cover YTD performance

10. Ensure efficient and proactive communication with the assigned Sales Support team member so that they are fully appraised of all customer’s requirements and existing solution packages, and are thus able to provide a seamless sales support service.

11. Continuously do research and analysis of the dynamics in the customer’s business and market place, together with the current customer situation to uncover and understand the business response and solutions required

12. Manage expectations of all stakeholders using highly developed communication, listening, questioning and reporting skills

13. Deploy effective negotiating and selling strategies in the key account and internally to achieved desired outcomes of the Sales Plan

14. Provide a consistently high level of customer service to all stakeholders with a view to retaining and building relationships and the business for the long term

15. Identify, target and win competitor accounts in the large market segment through the management of a pipeline system for the assigned sales territory.

16. Take the lead in tender opportunities within the sales territory by coordinating a professional and competitive response, utilising a solution oriented sales approach.

17. Establish agreements with appropriate large market segment target accounts with a view to building a relationship and eventually securing primary supplier status.

18. Provide regular reports and feedback to regional management on achievements against Sales plans for each key account

19. Monitor and report on market and competitor activities and provide relevant reports and information

20. Develop and foster a close and positive working relationship with Operations and liaise with all levels of Operations during the Sales and delivery process of the business to ensure the highest level of service is delivered to renters

22. Work closely with all internal departments to improve services delivered to key accounts; provide feedback and improve processes to create customer value and increased customer satisfaction

23. Identify process improvements and product enhancements required for key account customers and communicate to the next level

24. Attend after hour functions (sales team or client related) as necessary, and participate in trade shows and industry events as required.
