Responsibilities:
- To monitor and develop strategic planning & action plan with policy interpretation to protect corporate benefits/ investment/ brand, set up Policy Databank to provide legislative/ regulatory report detailing new/ on-going development & impact analysis for senior management and internal relevant departments
- To maintain and continuously improve BMW's position and brand image within government circle to enable a stronger lobbying activities for smooth business development
- To take the lead on corporate project approval in line with governmental requirements with proper corporate benefits protection and preferential policy acquirement.
- To develop, manage and maintain BMW Brilliance’s strong relationships and communications with designated government organizations
- To be capable to communicate effectively with BMW Brilliance internal shareholders
- To participate in BMW Brilliance crisis management and urgent case lobbying to obtain government support immediately while crisis occur thus successfully resolve crisis
- To concentrate on government procurement coordination to support BMW Brilliance 's product in the government purchasing list and work out long-term government sales strategy
- To organize and/ or participate in key government affairs including meetings between shareholders/senior management and government officials, courteous visits, business negotiations, government-organizing meetings & seminars, events, ceremonies, etc.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree required, advanced degree or degrees from countries other than China is a plus
- Mature and politically sensitive, approximately 8-10 years of relevant working experience.
- A good background and experience in government or in auto industry would be good plus
- Familiar with and understand China auto industry policy and FDI policies, be able to anticipate Chinese government policies changes in a short and long term and be able to analyze how government policies and their changes impact BMW Brilliance businesses.
- Strong communications skill, analytical thinking with planning and project management capability required.
- Strong capability of organizing government related events.
- Strong leadership in line with the Guidelines for Leadership, and the philosophy of Management House.
- Professional manner with international experience - multinational and/or auto industry work experience ideal.
- Mature individual with very good interpersonal skills.
- Proactive and self-motivated.
- Very good English and Chinese written and verbal language skills.
- Team spirit.
