Responsibilities:
- Develop long term value realization plans by defining and managing appropriate portfolio of projects to achieve customer business objectives
- Establish/validate corresponding tactical objectives with business process owners
- Augment overall relationship management between business, partner and BMW IT
- Provide the "Voice of Experience" with a broad perspective on projects and implementation activities
- Maintain and validate the business vision for the project, and enable alignment with other projects across the customer's business
- Provide "on site" (Shenyang, Beijing, Germany, and South Africa) presence for BBA IT as required to ensure effective project delivery
- Manage project deliverables including project risks, issues, contingencies, communications, project schedules, project financials and change management
- Manage overall project/program delivery to plan-scope, budget and milestones
- Verify and perform the standard plans and procedures
- Participate in/or lead Quality Assurance reviews
- Monitor/advice regarding resource utilization and alignment with project needs (HR/Staffing functions)
- Advise to resolve business/system integration issues

Qualifications:
- University/bachelor degree in computer science or engineering discipline
- MBA or advanced degree in related discipline is preferred
- 8 years professional experience in IT project management
- 5 years SAP product application/implementation experience
- Experience of project management in financial/sales services area is preferred
- Broad basis of technical qualifications (e.g. ORACLE, .Net, SAP, Java, C++, Web Services).
- Fluency in English
- Goal-oriented and highly analytical thinking
- Focus on customer requirements and quality
- Flexible, willingness to travel.
- Intercultural awareness
