Responsibilities:
1. Plan, design, and conduct cost effective firmware solutions according to established scientific methods to improve, generate new electronic drivers, equipment, systems, and testing procedures.
2. Perform calculations, component and product specifications in collaboration with relevant departments, and other technical documentation so that prototype designs can be manufactured and assembled. Analyze test results and prepare detailed reports with recommendations and conclusions
3. Optimize product cost and performance using firmware by adding, improving or replacing the existing analog or digital functionality.
4. Become and stay a knowledgeable about the analog control part to ensure fully optimized interfacing to the analog side, preventing dualities and clearing the path for new unthinkable solutions.
5. Support for Platform building block design and selection
6. Support for cost down of current platform
7. Benchmark market solution for supporting platform selection
8. Estimate the costs, resources, and time required to conduct a R&D project and monitor performance to ensure these targets are met while adopting the relevant procedures of the company Process House
9. Develop and maintain technical expertise on advances and innovations in research and science
10. Ensure that patent situation of new product development is checked and that patents are applied for innovative results.

Requirements:
1. 1-5 years of experience in firmware design in relevant industries - control/industrial. (Zigbee, Bluetooth, WIFI stack or related experience are preferred.)
(NOT signal processing or high level chipsets so NOT: MP3/ DVD /Television..)
2. Experience of working in a company with good project management and well defined R&D processes is a must.
3. Collaboration with design teams from APAC, EU, NAFTA
4. With experience at international companies is preferred.
5. Good communication skills (pro-active in expressing his work)
6. Bachelor, preferably Master of Electronic Engineering
