Business Intelligence Report Developer
Position
The Business Intelligence Report Developer will be responsible for supporting senior management with accurate dashboards and timely reports. The ideal candidate thoroughly knows Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services and is an expert in writing SQL. Also works with the full suite of BI technologies in SQL Server, including Integration Services, Reporting Services, and Analysis Services. 4 to 6 years’ experience preferred.

Focus for the position is to take complex data requirements related to specific business problems, stage data, create facts and dimension tables, and build reports. The role should become an in-house expert on key business operating metrics, enabling the candidate to support senior business leaders in quickly identifying issues and offering strategic recommendations on key programs.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Report Development
? Work closely with internal customers analyzing problems and to create and maintain reports, maintaining SSRS Reports and ad-hoc SQL scripts
? Work to develop reports that begin at the enterprise dashboard level, cascade to the operational owner level, then allow the user to drill down to elemental data to diagnose issues and opportunities.
? Support senior management with analysis needed to make important decisions.
? Use problem solving and creativity to apply appropriate metrics in the creation of compelling and thorough analyses
? Help identify KPIs for departments throughout the company
? Develop key business operating metrics to help drive business accountability


Candidate Profile
? 4-6 years of Reporting Services experience
? Expert in MSSQL
? Strong English speaking ability.
? Advance knowledge of SQL Server Integration Services, SQL Server Analysis Services
? Knowledge of K2, .Net, SharePoint, PerformancePoint, PowerPivot, PowerView a plus
? Writing custom reports, SQL Scripts, Advance Searches and queries.
? Address issues of Data Integrity/Migration (Validation, Clean-up and Mapping)
? Intellectual and analytical curiosity – initiative to dig into the “why” of various results and a desire to grow responsibility and become a domain expert and strategic thought leader
? Must be comfortable with uncertainty. Projects and assignments will change rapidly, so the candidate must be flexible enough to accommodate changing priorities and timelines
? Able to work with different departments and teams to gather complete datasets and communicate findings and practices company-wide
? Able to work independently and proactively, identifying issues and raising them to management, as well as offering potential solutions
? Demonstrated experience with modeling business scenarios strongly preferred
? Bachelor’s degree and solid background in technology, mathematics, statistics, accounting, finance, or other quantitative discipline preferred.
