Incoming Quality Control (IQC) Technician/Warehouse Clerk

Location: Avnan Technology (Shenzen) Limited, Long Hua New District, Shenzhen

Position Objective:

As IQC Technician, you will be responsible for verifying that incoming material is correct and complies with documented specifications. This position requires knowledge of electronic componentry (PTH and SMT), with strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to quality. You take initiative to ensure that processes and procedures are carefully followed and you identify and recommend effective improvements. In addition, as Warehouse Clerk, you will work with the operations group to set up and maintain the warehouse space.

Key Responsibilities:

Incoming Quality Inspection
- Inspect materials following documented specifications and data sheets- Carry out dimensional measurements with use of calipers and or micrometer
- Carry out inspecting testing such as material hardness , pull force testing
- Data entry of inspection findings
- Establish and maintain a material quarantine hold area
- Issue Non-conforming material reports and or SCAR to supplier to increase quality of incoming material, and follow through with disposition with the purchasing team
- Document management/ archive setup e.g. inspection report/ test data/ RoHs certification/ specification of material
- Help Quality Supervisor in identifying and sourcing required resources and equipment for quality
- Analyze data from Inspections, and then make recommendations to improve quality
- Improve in-material inspections and testing based on analysis

Warehouse management

- Participate in warehouse setup- bins, shelving, storage, handling controls for ESD and or moisture sensitive materials
- Material order picking for production
- Electronic data entry and material transfers in EPICOR
- Monitor and follow up with factories to ensure all SCARs are addressed
- Conduct root cause analysis
- Aid with PPAP submittal
- Ensure suppliers have and use current drawing revisions

Key Requirements:

- At least 5 years’ experience as Quality inspector
- Experience and familiarity with PCBA manufacturing
- Knowledgeable of electronic componentry
- Experience interpreting manufacturing drawings, data sheets and gerber files
- Thorough understanding of quality tools and concepts ( FMEA, 8D, etc.)
- Good knowledge of measurement devices, multi-meter, hardness testers and PCs
- Strong computer skills- experience with an ERP system is an asset
- Good written communication in English, can read drawing, spec data entry
- Good Mandarin communication skills
