Role synopsis

The Account Manager will be responsible for handling a set of Key accounts in a Region or Business Segment and will be responsible to increase the share of wallet and product / service offer upgradings with the customers by applying principles of key account management, solution selling and value selling.

Key accountabilities

1. Keep strong HSSE bias and fully align with company Code of Conduct regulation.
2. Build relationships and networking with the assigned customers and ‘own’ the customers at all touch points.
3. Focus on Value addition to the customer through the principles of Strategic Account Management and Value Selling
4. Achieve sales targets with assigned customers and actively seek to increase the share of wallet with the customers in this segment
5. Closely monitor competitor activity and devise appropriate strategy to block competitor entry.
6. Develop and own the Account plans in line with ILS China business strategy
7. Complete other sales related activities like monthly sales forecasting, product trial run, marketing promotions etc. toward company requirement.
8. Liaise regularly with the industrial support team, e.g. Technical Service, sales operation, Technology etc. to drive customer satisfaction and business growth.
9. Carry out all required documentation punctually and to the required standard.

Essential Education

1. Minimum a recognized university degree

Essential experience and job requirements

1. 4-5 years experience in industrial consumable industry.
2. Self-driven, motivated
3. Adapt to changes and working under stress
4. Fluent in English (both written and oral)
5. Good computer skills, including Excel, PowerPoint and Word
6. Good communication skills.

Desirable criteria & qualifications

1. A recognized university degree preferably in mechanical / chemical engineering.
2.Lubricants experience is preferred though not mandatory
