Responsible for

· Code effective and efficient Windows components using Microsoft .NET technologies

· Investigate and research defects, present solutions with estimated work effort and effectively implement tasks

· Ensure code meets specifications, quality and security standards, and is maintainable

· Peer review other developers code with a particular attention to accuracy and detail

· Follows prescribed process and configuration management/version control policies

· Unit test software components

· Work with limited supervision while providing constant feedback on project status and deadlines. The Developer is expected to work in a team-oriented role with constant interaction with other team members

· Work with business analysts to resolve functional issues and technical implementation

· Ensuring that expected application performance levels are achieved

· Designing and developing software modules which adhere to published standards for coding and design to solve business problems as outlined in the functional specification

Required Qualifications:

• BS in Computer Science or related
• 2-3 years .NET Framework experience
• Good C# development experience
• Good knowledge / programming experience on Object Oriented Programming.
• Good knowledge/programming experience on .Net event-based model programming.
• Good Multi-threading knowledge/programming experience.
• MS Enterprise Library
• XML, Web Services
• Some knowledge and experience in SQL Server 2005 / 2008, T-SQL, stored procedures and relational data base
• Experience with Visual Studio 2005, 2008 and 2010

Desired Qualifications:

· Background in finance, economics, mathematics or actuarial science

· NET Remoting, WCF

· N-Tier/Distribution systems architectures

· Parallel computing and distributed system knowledge

· DTC and SOA

· CSLA business object model

· Microsoft Composite UI Application Blocks (CAB)
