Position: Product Quality Manager (M/F)


Job summary:

Linked to the Quality and Regulatory Director of the group: guarantor of the quality products and production processes, responsible for compliance with standards and procedures, for audits of products and factories,
you have to ensure that the product meets the regulatory requirements and to the technical and design pre-established. To properly fulfill this mission, you have to know or to learn very fast, processes and manufacturing flow and the technical aspects of the product.
You manage a team of 5 QC spread over several areas.


Requirement:

? More than 3 years of quality assurance and quality control experience, preferably in toys.
? Familiar with quality control process and testing standards.
? Independent, analytical, and proactive to problem solving.
? Technical knowledge related to consumer devices or toys.
? Experience influencing others while having no direct authority.
? Good interpersonal skills, and not reluctant to take up responsibilities.
? Good communication skills in English and Mandarin, French is a plus.
? Frequent travel in different production areas in China.


Job Description:

? Plan QC operations, manage internal QC activities and perform due diligence.
? Review prototype reports to align design specifications with inspection operations.
? Participate to pre-production and pre-shipment testing according to the destination compliance requirements and product risk level, to testing activities and intervene with lab and suppliers when necessary.
? Find solutions with supplier/lab for testing or inspection failure.
? Conduct periodic reviews of Factory Quality Data and control with internal team
? Review testing, inspection reports and make shipment decisions.
? Create operation procedure in accordance with new testing requirements for internal and external training.
? Participate in the analysis of aftersales complaint data to investigate quality abnormality with supplier.
? Hold regular meetings with lab and suppliers to ensure smooth operations.
? Communicate and train the QC on executing the Quality Control process and on specific requests during the 1st productions (end of development phasis)
