DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Define assigned components requirements and working with Supply Chain team to qualify new vendor from different assigned commodities.
2. Work with the Program Manager and technical team to determine and define the project requirement and turn into a Component specification.
3. Generate approximate testing plan to validate the component specification is met.
4. Utilized the external parties resource as much as possible to complete all kinds of qualification testing for the assigned commodities.
5. The Technical Team would provide support on quality content to the Project Manager to achieve product quality requirements coherence across functions.
6. Prepare the commodity database and best practice for future refresh product such that the new product could be design in those best practice.
7. Drive, monitor, report and manage the assigned suppliers’ quality performance but not limited to their IQC, IPQC, OQC and OBA processes.
8. To drive a preventive action and to support the defect analysis for supplier quality issues reported by Contract Manufacturer.
9. Frequent travel to different supplier factories in China and this working location is changed depending on business need but not limited to Asian countries.
10. Support Senior Manager, Quality Engineering to monitor a supplier but not limited to a Contract Manufacturer (CM) to manage Incoming, IPQC to OBA and ORT.


EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE / POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
1. At least 5 years supplier quality engineering experience in electronic industries.
2. Deep knowledge of supplier quality management about IQC, IPQC, OQC and OBA process.
3. Familiar with quality tools.
4. Bachelor degree or above, major in mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, quality or equivalent
5. Fluent English both in written and oral.
