Responsibilities:
- Work with CTO office on concepts and identify, develop, industrialize and document the required advanced/new technology processes to the level that can get introduced to the EMS factories and can support product industrialization NPI needs,
- Identify active divergent/outdated mfg/testing solutions and define and prove out improved/up-to-date/advanced/innovative alternatives that could support cost down, quality up, reliability up performance,
- Manage technically complex (multi or inter disciplined) projects such as automation, new technology development,
- Understand the Manufacturing Operations data flow processes and actively identify structural improvement and automation opportunities in the SWIMMS environment in terms of SOW definition, development, integration with other systems or reporting.

Requirements:
1. Academic Qualification:
Degree in relevant technical field (electrical, mechanical, it, automation etc) or equivalent experience in these fields,

2. Relevant Work Experience:
Sufficient work experience is dependent on basic qualification and the previous industrial cultures but minimum 5-8 years previous experience expected in relevant industry (electronics/telecom OEM, automation etc.) preferably with company having knowingly good industrial culture,

3. Work Behavior:
? Open & independent to learn new things and share with others,
? Innovative to turn the new things into benefiting solutions,
? Self-motivated to carry out things even with limited active supervision,
? Positive “can do” attitude as new things often hard to buy in for others,
? Patient to drive for the “best” solution yet result oriented to complete tasks within the available timeframe (this is not academics, need to achieve practical results),


4. Competence/Core skills:
? Must be able to understand and learn complex technical/technological concepts & processes, identify their key sub processes and driving/control parameters,
? Must be able to define appropriate control parameters to achieve stability and determine parameter windows that would allow process variation yet still keep stability – corner cases,
? Must be able to understand relevant analytics, statistics and DOE concepts,
? Must be able to document processes in a way that are meaningful for outsiders and allows the process to be reproduced in a different location – best practice/technology definition,
? Value and means of standardizing & automating,
? Project management to track tasks/progress as well to achieve the progress when needed,
? Communication skills for internal SWI – with different departments – as well as externally with technology or component vendors and EMS sites,
? IT skills – various – user/automated systems/Database structures & Reporting,

5. Language skills:

? Working language will be English,
? Mandarin/Cantonese is a good to have.
