Objective:
Majority of new project development.to work with both client and supplier to ensure incoming quality, in process quality to out going quality control.


Key Accountabilities

Responsibilities:
1.Involve in Internal NPI meeting (MIL, DOE, etc) participate regular NPI review meeting with customer and PCH team, collecting customer voice improves weak points of whole project quality team.

2. Reduce the ‘Cost of Poor Quality’ by error proofing product development and production process, tracking MIL and driving PCH/vendor to improved quality issues in NPI.

3. Cosmetic criteria: Sharing cosmetic experience of past projects and work with Client to sign limit sample to improve cosmetic yield, target to do cosmetic yield study and get limit sample through each build (EVT, DVT, PVT, Risk ramp), set up cosmetic inspection system with proper document and qualify (Kappa) inspector before each build from Proto to MP.

4. Audit: Drive vendor to set up quality/system audit system based on MIP/SIP/SOP, conduct process audit in a proper cycle time (daily of QC, weekly of engineer) and take actions to resolve issues.

5. SCAR management: Manage the supplier SCARs and make sure it response in 24Hrs for any customer complain.

6. 6-sigma tools: try to use statistics tools for issue analysis and problem resolving.

7. Coordinate PCH and vendor quality resource, lead the project quality team to meet Client’s requirement, clearly roadmap to achieve the quality target of each phase build.

8. Quality Document: Drive vendor to release and update quality documents (SIP/SOP/WI) on time. All documents get client approve in incline of each phase. (Proto to Ramp)

9. Quality fixture fabrication and qualification: work with Gold and PCH engineer team involve in quality metrology fixture Design (DFM) and qualification (GRR), tracking and driving to meet the function testing plan of each build. all functional testing fixture and equipment get ready and approve by client in time.


Required Qualifications, Experience & Key Skills

Requirements:
·Degree in mechanical Engineering, Applied Science, Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent fields.
·At least 5 years experience in manufacturing quality and with a good understanding of SPC, GRR, FMEA, six-sigma or TQM
·Better to have experience of Apple project especially soft goods like Leather, microfiber adhesive etc
·Able to work effectively in a multiple project environment
·Experience in Process Design and controls
·Good knowledge in statistical analysis like JMP or Minitap
·Should have good coordination skills to work with various departments and have excellent command of spoken and written English.
·Independent and self-motivated achiever.
