职位描述

Client Services OSD team within Technology Infrastructure is responsible for providing on-site technical
support for a variety of applications, system and hardware used by internal business users. The OSD
team is also responsible for the lifecycle management of workplace inventory, and multimedia support.
This includes infrastructure build-out, hardware provisioning, asset management, troubleshooting, on-
going support on both desktop hardware & software components, and multimedia event
planning/support. In some regional offices, the client Services OSD team is responsible for providing
datacenter services support, cabling and patching support

Workplace On-site Support
Ensure all production systems are fully operational during required office hours.
Provide on-site second level support to the internal personnel as well as high touch support for
Platinum users.
Identify and resolve points of failure in production systems, escalating to other Goldman Sachs
technical staff, or third party software vendors as necessary
Manage the lifecycle of all workplace equipment including procurement, scanning inventory,
provisioning and disposal
Partner with engineering team to manage all workplace related projects including pilot testing.
Continuously create, update, and publish documentation relating to existing and new
procedures.
Workplace hardware and software support including desktop, blackberry, market data, IPT
Support Move, Adds and Changes
Power downs execution, BCP site maintenance and support
Voice technology support including Cisco IPT, Trading Turret, Voice recording, and Voicemail

Data Center Services [Singapore only]
Day-to-day DCS functions include DC management; DC access control and escort of vendors in
the hardware install and break/fix activities, telecommunication carriers' site survey and post
checking on the work place tidiness and proper installation of equipment and cable inside the
equipment cabinets in the data center space.
Perform equipment installation, de-commissioning and relocation of server hardware and
network equipment. This should include asset scanning, CaRs updates, servers racking and un-
racking, IP reservation, console configuration and GI /Cost center updates.
Coordinate equipment shipping and receiving, assign asset tags and scanning of equipment into
the Global Inventory systems.
Technology room patching includes physical cable patching, removal and database updates in
CMS, NMS, cable Label and Manual drive.
UNSCHEDULED Production Troubleshooting Support and Stand-by for hardware Break and Fix
activities including power recycle, cable/port check and escort of vendors.
Coordinate with the GS infrastructure owners and service providers in the destruction and
disposal of de-commissioned hardware and HDD under the monitoring by GS Security Group.
Perform backup media on- site and off-site to/from the vendor site and keep track of the media
movement by scanning and syncing of Pocket PC and manual audit process on a daily basis.
