The job holder is responsible for designing and developing acoustic systems across a wide range of headphone products, working as part of a cross-functional team to deliver the sound quality and performance levels required to beat the competition.

Job Responsibilities:
? Define and develop of headphone acoustic architectures
? Collaborate with Product Management, Design, Mechanical, Electronics and Software functions to ensure sound performance targets are met
? Work with ODM and second tier suppliers to ensure the products meet the required quality standards
? Participate in innovation roadmap definition and project execution to meet the needs of the changing headphone market
? Participate in blind listening tests, comparing our product to the competition

Job Requirements:
? Bachelor degree holder in Acoustics or related technical discipline as a minimum
? At least 5 years’ experience in headphone acoustic system, development, tuning, and design for manufacture
? Must have an in-depth knowledge of electroacoustic principles and practical application
? Experience in headphone transducer and system measurement equipment and practices
? Experience in lumped element, Finite and Boundary Element simulation software
? Active Noise Cancellation headphone experience is desirable
? Previous experience of working with suppliers and manufacturers is required
? A passion for music and sound, with solid critical listening skills is essential
? Strong communication and presentation skills
? Proficient in MS Office
