TITLE :New Project Introduction Engineer (NPI)
DIRECTION : NPI Department
WORKPLACE : Shenzhen

JOB PURPOSE :
1.A NPI engineer follows the developpement of a product, and selects accordingly the most efficient technologies & processes to manufacture it, ensures at any moments the product can be mass produced in stable conditions.
2.A NPI Engineer is focused on a dedicated project, closely in contact with R&D team in France and EMS & suppliers in Shenzhen's surrounding.
3.Responsibilities involve respecting the delays & schedules, having designs which can be mass produced thanks to stable processes, and making sure the design will provide high quality products after assembly.


RESPONSABILITES (budget, delays, management, …) / TARGETS
1. Full technical understanding of manufacturing processes.
2. Follow evolution key technologies.
3. Lead the communication between R&D and suppliers & EMS.
4. Check the assembly feasibility of the product and identify risk points of each pieces.
5. Audit suppliers & EMS on sourcing stage, and confirm their productive and engineering capabilities.

6. Define the assembly line, assembly process and assembly flow chart in EMS plant for each product.
7. Make sure process are working at the optimum level, at the right rate, and that output quality is the one expected.
8. Define, design, and provide fixtures to make the assembly process easier.
9. Inventory all the tooling owned by Parrot in supplier's plant.
10. In charge of maintaining the Parrot's data up to date by gathering all data from suppliers.

EXPERIENCE :
5 years relevant work experiences AND 4 years in mobile phone or computer design.
At least 3 years in connect product field, R&D background and automotive Industry experience is preferred.
Educated level: College degree or above
Major: Mechanism, electronic engineering or relevant

REQUIRED SKILLS :
1.Plastic injection, Die casting, stamping, painting process, SMT, mechanical assembly, project management.
2.Knowledge of Solid work and SAP software.
3.Good interpersonal skills for both external and internal communication.

Good spoken and written English
