We are a well-known, international company specializing in the design, development, production and quality management of products for babies approx. 0-4 years of age.

We have a position available within our company for a Quality Systems Engineer. This position is suitable for someone with previous experience in business systems or quality management.

This position is based in our Shenzhen, China office.

You will be a good communicator, a logical thinker and enjoy the process of analysis and improvement
Reporting to the Managing Director, you will be required to:
* Provide quality leadership to internal departments, clients & suppliers
* Formulate, monitor & improve quality assurance policies, procedures & processes
* Schedule audit activities, to include pre-audit planning, audit execution, evaluation, corrective action plan and follow-up.
* Apply statistical evaluation and problem solving techniques to improve process effectiveness and product quality.
* Assist internal departments & suppliers with development and implementation of corrective and preventive action plans to improve overall quality results.
* Plan and execute training and projects to facilitate changes that have a positive impact on quality results.
* Prepare and manage the quality department budget
* Prepare monthly management reports
* Perform other related duties.

Skills required: Desired Skills and Experience
* Good spoken and written English & Mandarin
* A degree in business, manufacturing or quality management
* Minimum 5 years experience in a quality management role
* Knowledge of the principles of quality management (ISO 9001 and ISO 9004)
* Six Sigma and/or Lean Manufacturing skills and tools.
* Ability to apply quality management theories and principles to an operational environment.
* Strong prganisational & project managerment skills
* Practical statistical, analytical and problem solving skills.
* Strong communication, interpersonal and presentation
* Skilled with MS Office, Outlook, Access & Powerpoint
* IT skills are an advantage but not essential
Salary is negotiable and will be dependant on the knowledge and experience you bring to the company.
