Position Description

Essential Functions of the Job:

  • Oversees HR policy, procedures, programs and compliance of the Global Sourcing Division.
  • Associate development and human capital plan implementation (talent planning, organization structure development.
  • Achieve competitive advantage by attracting, retaining, and developing the right talent for our business.
  • Create an Associate experience that promotes high levels of internal engagement and a brand reputation for being one of the best places to work in the world.

Specific Duties and Accountabilities of the Job:

  • Counsels Managers and Associates regarding the intent, application, and compliance requirements of significant labor and regulatory laws.
  • Developing and implementing talent plans; monitoring workforce planning processes; acquiring key talent; creating and ensuring implementation of action plans for diversity initiatives; analyzing talent management data; providing recommendations regarding talent strengths and development needs; engagingresources to address talent gaps and overseeing performance management processes and initiatives.
  • Performs Talent Reviews and risk assessments to identify, reward and retain high performers.
  • Coaches and mentors management by working with them to understand their career aspirations, performance, and capabilities, and provides counsel and input on how to grow and improve their careers.
  • Gathering internal and external perspectives, trends, and other data specific to geographic area; creating potential initiatives; integrating business strategies with both global and divisional goals; aligning resources; executing plans; and monitoring region performance against plans.
  • Drives AOS process and reviews and analyses results to ensure consistent application of the open doorprocess.
  • Performs investigations of open doors and harassment claims to include making judgments on actions and coaching process.
  • Compliance with varied country specific and complex HR, legal, and tax regulations.
  • Assume additional responsibilities and special projects as needed or directed.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Excellent command in both written & spoken English and local language.
  • Well versed in local labor laws and employment regulations and practices.
  • Mature, approachable, and excellent interpersonal and problem solving skills.
  • Strong ability to manage change.
  • Diverse and able to work with people from different cultural background.
  • A well organized individual who can work under pressure with good business sense and judgment.
  • Make Sound Judgments and exercise discretion to evaluate business.
  • Demonstrate adaptability and flexibility in responding to changes and cultural differences.
  • Strong interpersonal, supervisory and team building skills.
  • Knowledge of Statutory Laws regarding licensing, welfare benefits, Pay and allowances , pollution control.
  • Think and act strategically through creating initiatives aligned with company and division strategy.
  • Maintaining actions and though leadership as an Associate advocate.
  • Promote through example a customer focused environment.
  • Establish an environment of ethics and compliance.
  • Developing and maintaining collaborative and cooperative relationships.
  • High ability to influence at more senior levels to ensure governance and compliance of People decisions. Negotiate and influence on a daily basis, with confidence and humility.
