ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

This position’s role is the leader of AP operation team who is responsible for the controls of all AP related operational processes and ensure the China NMPP compliance to support the purchase of merchandise / non-merchandise goods and/or services for Greater China Retail.

？ Demonstrate a strong, functional knowledge of payable & payment processes and the financial impact to provide solutions from multiple perspectives.
？ Supervise all activity surrounding AP payment processing including invoice processing, void/cancel/reissue, payment & hold resolution and NMPP control compliance.
？ Provide on-going analysis, opinions and guidance on payables accounting and methodologies used.
？ Ensure timely completion of monthly and fiscal year-end close processes, including supporting reconciliation team with problem solving and by recommending solutions.
？ Ensure all payment disbursements are properly prepared, documented, authorized, and processed which are all in compliance of Gap Inc. NMPP
？ Perform detailed analysis of assigned tasks; prepare reports documenting trends and financial and operational performance; Maintain productivity reporting regularly and evaluate the need for changes/ improvements to processes when necessary.
？ Identify and follow through on opportunities for process re-engineering to improve and maximize department efficiencies. Create and manage to departmental roadmaps with the goal of creating best in class/world class processes.
？ Support a timely and accurate year end internal and external audit processes. Execute to all requirements for process compliance for sub-processes within the AP department.
？ Supervisor all AP team members by setting up business goals and tracking individual goals as well as conduct GPS performance review.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

？ Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting related.
？ Minimum 5-6 years related experience in AP and Controls.
？ 5+ years of accounting experience required.
？ 3+ years of supervisory experience required.
？ Ability to assess the efficiency and effectiveness of the current process to streamline workflow.
？ Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to develop and manage a work plan from beginning to end and provide appropriate direction and support to team members.
？ Demonstrated initiative and ability to drive results and achieve goals,
？ Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and persuasively with all levels of the organization.
？ Strong analytical and problem solving competency.
？ Solid interpersonal skills with proven ability to develop and maintain effective business partner relationships at all levels of the organization.
？ Demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks concurrently and adapt to a changing, fast paced environment.
？ Demonstrated understanding of financial controls, risks and mitigation.
？ Excellent English, written and oral communication skills.
