Job Description

Job purpose for this position
-To provide application technical support for Analog & Mixed Signal IC’s, Power Management IC’s, Protection devices, Diodes and Power Mosfet for AC/DC power supply and Home appliance .
-This Position works full harmony with Sales/Marketing in order to provide Technical Support to customers and Build up Technical Intelligence.
-To act as a technical interface between local technical center and the technical groups within IPD/AMS Divisions.
-To establish cooperation links with the key technical interfaces of major customers in China Area.
-To define new system architectures and drive the development of new products based on Power management market trends

Principle accountabilities for this position
-Technical support to Design-in and Promotion of ST device&solution in SMPS/Home appliance
-To identify opportunities and initiate design-in activities at other customers by transferring the technical know-how and support-ing Sales and Marketing teams
- To draft out exact technical requirements at system level for new product specification in cooperation with IPD/AMS Advanced Marketing
- To help in assessing the market potential for such new products (pilot customers, other customers, other similar products)
- To define the target specifications with Divisions design and application teams

Requirement
-bachelor or master
-at least 5 works experience in SMPS (AC/DC, DC/DC)
-familiar with flyback, LLC PFC topology , DC/DC design(buck , boost)
-familiar with MOS, Diode, IGBT knowledge
-familiar with magnetics design knowledge
-familiar with EDA tools(Protel, Aultium, PowerPCB or Psipce sim)
-fluent English communication skill.
