职位描述

PRIME RESPONSIBILITY OR PURPOSE OF THE ROLE:
? Responsible for ongoing servicing of allocated clients
? Determine client requirements and provide access to relevant Aon Benfield China capabilities
? Responsible for exploring and developing business opportunities from existing and potential clients
? Place business on behalf of designated clients
? Engage with prospects at senior management level

2. Distinctive Client Value
? Presenting Aon Benfield’s service philosophy, as well as product development to ensure better/competitive product/service offering to clients.
? Able to proactively view situations from the clients’/key stakeholders’ perspective of the client in order to anticipate and meet the clients’ needs.
? Build and maintain regular contact with clients in a proactive manner to mitigate potential risks/problems or develop opportunities.
? Initiate/review/prepare reinsurance submissions/underwriting narrative/debriefs.
? Able to discuss and/or explain contract terms and conditions/Contract Wordings to clients and reinsurers.
? Identify and develop prospecting accounts.
? Work on/lead in special projects or large tender to ensure the team is benefited from the depth of market and product knowledge.
? Maintaining professional reinsurance network and facilitate networking opportunities for other teams.
? Clarifying and managing key stakeholder expectations and to ensure the delivery of effective and sustainable solutions.
? Keep abreast of industry and professional development to ensure services provided remain best practice.
? Customer complaints are dealt with in a consistent, appropriate, respectful and timely manner.
? Ensure clients are kept up to date with relevant legislative, technical and market developments. 35%
3. Business Results
? Take lead in contributing to the handling and development of current reinsurance clients, as well as acquiring new relationships.
? Deliver outstanding service and advice to clients in order to maintain and increase income.
? Achieve ultimate goal of total client dependence on Aon Benfield in placing/servicing our clients’ reinsurance program(s).
? Manage (i.e. handle underwriting preparation, fact-finding procedures, client interface, placement with reinsurers, etc.) clients’ accounts or portions of clients’ accounts generating income.
? Generate additional income from assigned clients by generating new income through additional contracts.
? Responsible for quality control of all work produced on assigned accounts At the completion of placement - prepare/present debrief document and assist with finalising renewal as required 35%

? Investigate alternative placement options, present new concepts to clients
? Support and encourage innovative ways of working through:
? Suggesting effective new processes / services or improvements to current processes / services.
? Support and actively promote change initiatives.
? Identify opportunities for improvements to operational efficiency.

? Ensure service offering to all clients is regularly reviewed, of high professional quality, timely, and of good value.
? Provide leadership to teams so that they are motivated to deliver a top quality professional service. 10%

TECHNICAL SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED
? At minimum a completed Bachelors
? Preferably 5- 7 years of experience in a commercial financial environment and reinsurance industry
? Independent, analytical, conceptually minded and pro-active
? Understanding of dynamic and global office structure
? Skilled in working with several relevant computer systems.
? Excellent oral/written English proficiency
? Ability to present to Senior Stakeholders in a professional environment
