职位描述
The QE Manager will oversee Quality Assurance of suppliers during products development stage and ensure packaged products and components provided by the suppliers meet our requirements. Evaluate effectiveness of quality system, in process control and strive to continuously improve our staff and the supplier.
Qualification requirements:
1. University degree in quality, manufacturing or industrial engineering or related disciplines
2. Minimum 6 years working experience in Quality aspect with 2-3 years supervisor experience
3. Familiar with plastic, casting, metal fabrication, paint and enamel manufacturing processes, consumer product packaging and gas appliances.
4. Knowledge in gas valve / gas regulator experience is a plus
5. Working knowledge of Quality systems, such as ISO 9000 and quality improvement tools; FMEA, SPC, PPAP, Lean & 6-Sigma methodology, certified Six Sigma Black Belt is preferred.
6. Familiar with product certification, such as: CSA, UL, CE, RoHS High level of proficiency in MS Office tools (Word, Excel, Access)
7. Familiar with metrology and measuring techniques.
8. Team player with strong management and communication skills
9. Written and oral fluency in English and Mandarin.
10. Frequent travel in China
Duties:
1. Plan for and manage a team of Quality Engineers
2. Take part in new products introduction, defining quality procedures and control plan in conjunction with suppliers;
3. Responsible for potential supplier audits, periodic supplier audits, material certifications, PPAP, in process audits and follow up on any required corrective actions.
4. Set and continually manage quality expectations, auditing requirements and standards with team members.
5. Work directly with staff and suppliers, as required, to prepare suppliers quality systems for production, ensure procedures and capabilities can meet our quality requirements, international and national standards;
6. Ensure all products ship according to QA acceptance standards and support on time shipments.
7. Communicate and work closely with the Quality Team at Head Quarter (USA) to resolve all critical quality issues. Tele-Conference at night is required if necessary.
8. Coach, mentor, train, motivate and supervise Quality team members and suppliers; and influence them to take positive actions and to be accountability for their respective work.
9. Develop, maintain, analyze and report on statistical data to determine supplier compliance to current quality and engineering standards.
