The job holder needs to have well understanding on audio & video technology and product development/manufacturing process, technically responsible and lead a team of engineers for the product creation and provides technical support on Electrical function, translates commercial requirement to technical product specification, cooperates with suppliers for component/platform selection and ensures the product deliverables with the agreed quality to achieve the business target

Overall Responsibilities:

The role is to define and create product architecture and specification according to the business plan and fulfil the Woox product quality and deliver on time. And this role also need to support the manager to lead and manage Mechanical development team.

Job Responsibilities:

* Define and create product architectures, functions and specification for new products based on business requirement and the understanding of consumer knowledge.
* Lead and carry out feasibility study on new technologies, platform evaluation, and key component selection.
* Define, review and approve technical specification / activities in line with quality standard and carry out the hardware / system validation requirement for acceptance.
* Responsible for tracking ODM hardware development activity and work with ODM engineer to analyze/identify failures mode and drive to result.
* Responsible for improving and updating the required knowledge, provide guidance and coaching for competence/process improvement.

Job Requirements:

* Bachelor degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Master degree preferred
* 8-12 years relevant experience in audio / video product development and technical management
* Must have strong experience in development of Consumer Audio and Video product and in using circuit / PCB design tool
* The candidate is required to have knowledge in EMC& safety standard on consumer electronic device such as UL & etc.
* High power audio product development experience, include power supply and power amplifier is preferred
* The candidate who has proficient battery(lithium ion/polymer) product development and Wifi / Bluetooth/other RF product development experience is also preferred
* Fluent in Written/Spoken English and Mandarin is required and be Fluent in cantonese will be preferred
