Reports To: Network Administrator (USA based)

A large trading company is searching for a Network Technician.
Key Requirements
? Experience in maintaining Windows Workstations and Windows Servers
o Operating systems: Windows 7 Pro and Windows Server 2008 R2 and 2012
? Working knowledge of Cisco ASA Firewalls and configuration
o Remote Access and Site to Site IPSec VPN Tunnels
? Network Infrastructure
o Managed and Unmanaged Switches
o Secure Wireless Internet Access
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
? Establishes networking environment by directing system installation; defining, documenting, and enforcing system standards.
? Maximizes network performance by monitoring performance; troubleshooting network problems and outages; scheduling upgrades; collaborating with network architects on network optimization.
? Maintain a thorough understanding of the basics behind the Internet and its workings (DNS, Security,IP Routing, HTTP, VPN, Email Routing, SPAM, etc.)
? Maintain a thorough understanding of Local Area Networking
? Troubleshooting malfunctions of network hardware and software applications.
? Managing assigned projects and program components to deliver services in accordance with established objectives.
? Responding to inquiries from staff, administrators, service providers, site personnel and outside vendors and etc. to provide technical assistance and support.
