Corporate Division Marketing
Division, located in Beijing/China
Employment – full time





Key Responsibility



  • Analyze the existing data from (1) sales: sales volume, registration data, sales leads, to understand the sales needs/gaps; (2) marketing: media buy data, marketing event expenses and dealer's marketing spending data; (3) customers: customer demography including end-users and buyers, motivation factors for car purchase; (4) competitors: competitors' marketing activities effectiveness especially in comparison with similar marketing activities of BMW

  • Develop marketing intelligence proposal and marketing efficiency report, in terms of marketing performance gaps in comparison with the key competitors especially on key products, opportunities for marketing communication and activities, improvement suggestions in terms of timing, investment and marketing programs to secure brand and sales needs

  • Develop and implement marketing strategies including brand strategy (BMW JOY), marketing department strategy & directions for different functions (i.e. e-marketing, communication…), product lifecycle communication strategy under different approaches for the brand and for sales growth

  • Manage special projects (including city attack, niche model strategy etc.) in terms of concept idea & proposal, marketing plans as well as implementation coordination with other marketing functions

  • Prepare management reports and presentations for management meetings, decision circles and internal/external conferences

  • Work with senior manager to develop and review marketing KPIs, measures to analyze effectiveness/efficiency on key models' marketing campaigns and activities, and prepare reports/learnings for future improvement and action plan.

  • Other tasks assigned by line manager

Qualification



  • Master degree, business administration or marketing preferred

  • Proficiency with strategic planning in marketing plans/campaigns, product campaign, communication and activities

  • Proficiency skills in marketing communication (ATL, BTL, e-Marketing, event, CRM, dealer marketing, etc.)

  • Knowledge of auto industry and automobile product

  • Competency of strategic & systematic thinking

  • Good communication skills and customer orientation

  • Very good logic thinking and with a helicopter view

  • Strong Project management skills and ability of problem solving and conflict management

  • 7- 10 years working experience in Marketing strategy & intelligence or in coherence field while with 1-3 years in automotive industry

  • 1-3 years Consulting firm background is a plus
