GENERAL OVERVIEW:
? To enhance capabilities of APAC sourcing team, esp. for fine writing pens,
? to ensure the execution of new product development with suppliers,
? to generate productivity initiatives and execute productivity projects,
? to improve and audit production processes at suppliers


PRIMARY TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES:
? Generate productivity initiatives, and evaluate saving and feasibility; Mitigate potential cost increase;
? Support implementation of OPEX and VA/VE initiatives at suppliers
? Execute sourcing projects (both new products and productivity projects)
？ identify potential suppliers;
？ execute RFQ, negotiate global contract and commercial terms (price terms, MOQ, general production capacity and lead time, etc.)
？ take lead of execution of product development process with suppliers; support design freeze and qualification processes;
？ support implementation of quality plan at suppliers;
？ discuss and monitor production/shipping plan with suppliers.
? monitor supplier performance and drive improvement in productivity, lead time, service level, and quality
? manage the change of processes or raw materials/components with suppliers;
? daily following-up with suppliers and visit suppliers for business reviews, development session etc.


REQUIREMENTS:
? Bachelor degree or above, with engineering background
? good at English, both written and speaking
? 5 years related working experience
? At least 3 years in manufacturing of writing instruments, or metal forming, or surface treatments of metals
? Experience in metal forming and/or surface treatment of metals
