Corporate Division Controlling & Risk Management
Division, located in Beijing
Employment – full time

Key Responsibility

• Consultation in fire prevention topics including civil, technical and preventive fire or explosion protection issues during operation modifications and constructions.


• Review concepts of civil and technical fire protection designs and provide review comments to assist risk minimization in construction design stage.


• Conduct regular inspections to construction sites to follow up installation quality and identify changes that may affect fire protection systems.


• Support on the establishment "Risk Change Management" system and Steer after the establishment.


• Support local and international insurance companies/ brokers in conducting regular risk assessments.


• Support on Crisis Management Team.


• Support the management of risk management report circle.

Qualification

• University degree in engineering or science, or equivalent. Preferred university majors are civil, mechanical, plumbing, Fire Protection Engineering or Safety engineering.


• Proven working experience as design engineer in Design Institute or International Design Companies, or risk consulting experience in insurance broker companies.
  Preferably with project management experience.


• Fluent in English language, preferably Chinese language/ Mandarin as well.


• Familiar with Chinese design standards as well as international fire protection codes and standards and insurance loss prevention data sheets.


• Superior consultation of BBA senior management in Risk Management topics, eg. preparation/ involvement in BBA crisis management team


• Good computer knowledge in standard Microsoft software programs.


• Excellent communication and presentation skills.


• Willingness to travel regularly.


• Proven industrial design experience for Design Institute or Design company, 1-3 years


• Proven field experience in utilization of fire protection per local Chinese fire protection codes as well as international codes (NFPA, FM Global, etc.), 1-3 years


• Field experience in general project management, 1-3 years


• Utilization of Technical English language
