Key Accountabilities include:

1. Reorganising and modernising supply chain and inventory activities.

2. Creating and implementing a supply chain and inventory strategy.

3. To negotiate and establish commercial terms and purchasing agreements with suppliers.

4. Vigorously control costs against project defined targets and bid estimates.

5. Ensure that all materials are handled in a timely manner to ensure they are managed in accordance with project requirements and the financial materials forecast.

6. Develop team working and multi-tasking skills within the departments to maximise labour efficiencies.

7. Manage personal development of individuals within the teams to ensure a strong motivated team is in place.

8. Maintain internal and external stocking levels of Customer Kanbans

Personal Requirements:

1. You must be fluent in both written and spoken English.

2. You will need to have a good understanding of planning KPI’s and systems, i.e. - production scheduling, capacity planning, forecasting.

3. Experience in a senior supply chain, inventory or procurement role and in line management

4. A background in electronics and electromechanical manufacturing would be beneficial as would knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principals

5. Experience with change management and setting up new systems.

6. You will be a good communicator, well organised, approachable, resilient and an effective manager of people.

7. Strategic thinker, results focused and success orientated with good negotiation skills.

8. Professional in appearance and conduct, confident and self assured.
