RESPONSIBILITIES

- Oversees the planning, development, implementation and maintenance of manufacturing methods, processes and operations for new and existing products.
- Ensures the effective use of materials, equipment, and personnel in producing quality products at minimum costs.
- Acts as a liaison with engineering in releasing new products.
- Develops systems to maintain reports and record keeping of company products.
- Define, plan and coordinate the activities of an Engineering group, outside of day-to-day responsibilities, to meet both short and long term goals as dictated by Director level personnel.
- Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function.

REQUIREMENTS

- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering

- 5+ years supervisory experience? 5+ years design or development experience

- Good communication skills, both oral and written
- Strong Troubleshooting Skills
- Project Management Proven Skills – Multi Site/Global
- Six Sigma Black Belt or Green Belt Experience is prefer (not needed for a Technology position)
- CAD (AutoCAD, PRO-E), MSOffice, ERP (Tetra, QAD, Mapics, etc) systems experience (not needed for a Technology position)
- Data Driven Individual
- Attention to detail
