Electrical Hardware Engineer for Testing Tool
Microsoft Manufacturing Test Engineering (MTE) is expanding in China. We are looking for a experienced hardware development engineers for Microsoft hardware product test tools. Those test tools are used to verify Surface Accessory, Mouse and Keyboard. This job is based on Shenzhen, China, and will have 15% travel to factory in Dongguan/Suzhou in China, International travel is also required occasionally.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Circuit design for test tools of Surface related product, including Surface accessory, Mouse and Keyboard;
2. Be able to define the test requirement and specification;
3. To design the schematics according the test requirement by using Altium or Power PCB, Cadence OrCAD
4. To design hardware logic in CPLD/FPGA in VHDL/Verilog/AHDL;
5. To bring up, debug, verify and fine tunning the test tools according the test specification;
6. To Generate related documents during the whole development process;

Competencies:

1. Familiarity with hardware design for embedded system, and design for testability;
2. Experience Hardware-software development with the modeling and simulation,and proficiency in Verilog/VHDL/AHDL;
3. Knowledge about the architecture of USB/HID, TCP/IP, Ethernet, SQL, Bluetooth, WiFi, hardware drivers, SDRAM, EMI;
4. Experienced development of test equipment, firmware experience is helpful;
5. Good English communication skill both in oral and writing; Working language is English or Mandarin;
6. Fast learner and able to deliver complex projects under pressure;
7. Interest in both learning about and creating new technologies.
8. Proven ability to succeed in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment;

Minimum Qualifications:
BS/MS degree on specialty of Computer Engineering, Electrical Technology, Automation or any other related with 3-5 years of working experiences;
