JD of System Engineer for Manufacture Test Engineering

System Engineer for Microsoft Manufacturing Test Engineering
Microsoft Manufacturing Test Engineering (MTE) is expanding in China. We are looking for a skillful system engineer for Microsoft hardware product test equipment on production line, including Surface Accessory, Mouse and Keyboard. This job is based on Shenzhen, China, and will have 15% travel to factory in Dongguan/Suzhou in China, International travel is also required occasionally.


Key Responsibilities:

1. Work out test solution and test specification according the Microsoft hardware product feature;
2. Perform detailed design about test system architecture, including auto-control component selection, test instrument configuration, circuit connection, and fixture/Jig solution;
3. Define the software test flow chart and specification;
4. Co-work with Software engineer and technician to bring up, debug, verify and fine tuning the test equipment on line while product build in factory;
5. Document system design and key specification, Co-work with MTE-PM to make sue the test equipment pass GRR before product goes into mass production;
6. Co-work with team leader to develop common test platform for Microsoft future products;

Competencies:

1. Familiar with circuit design, including schematics design for PCBA;
2. Familiar with auto-control components and pneumatic element, and select it according the requirement of cost efficiency, easy maintenance, environment compatible;
3. Be able to understand major sensors category and have experience to select it according test requirement;
4. Be able to understand mechanical design especially fixture and test equipment design;

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor degree on major of Automation, auto-control, electrical-mechanics and related specialty;
2. Must have more than 3 years of test equipment development experience;
