Job Summary
Serve as team member developing and supporting application software. Work under general supervision of more experienced team members. Carry out more complex tasks with some independence and discretion regarding how to carry out those tasks.

Key Duties & Responsibilities (in decreasing Critical Emphasis order)
1 Serve as senior team member for the design and implementation of products.
2 Manage complexity at the module level and database level using VB 6.0 and VB.NET
3 Resolve technical problems.
4 Initiate design changes and provide engineering support to assess customer needs and solve field issues.
5 Conduct and engage in complex software development requiring direct interface with hardware.
6 Generate design and product documentation.
7 Perform unit testing and integration testing as required.
8 Participate in source code control and software release activities.
9 Anticipate problems and solves before they develop.
10 Perform other duties as required.

Qualifications/Skills/Abilities
Formal Education BS in Computer Science or equivalent

Experience (type & duration)
Four-five years professional experience developing within a Microsoft .NET and VB 6.0 environment.

Skills
? Must speak and write fluently and effectively in both Mandarin Chinese and English languages.
? High proficiency in development and engineering skills and expertise.
? Good working knowledge of tools such as MS Visual Studio .NET, Visual Source Safe, and commercially available issue management tools.
? Solid understanding of automated test development using commercially available automation tools.
? Strong knowledge of telecommunications specifications and standards as they apply in a system application.
? Seasoned professional with a full knowledge of operating systems, networking standards and protocols.
? Ability to deal with problems of moderate scope, to analytically identify cause and affect relationships and assist in logically developing action plans.
? Able to document issues, test plans, test designs and project status.
? Able to Unit test code after completion.
? Manage time effectively, from day to day time to project schedules with minimal supervision.
