Role synopsis To be responsible for delivering the performance by organizing, leading and supervising the Sales team to develop the markets for both BP & Castrol Auto lubricants and in the assigned regional territory.
Key accountabilities ØTo provide the Leadership and management to the Sales Team in the Region to achieve the short term regional volume/GP targets, and long term business objectives regarding the distributor development, channel exploration, brand propositions, customer satisfaction ( CVA ), trade support, as well as the internal people recruiting, training, motivation and performance management.
ØTo manage the sales performance across the categories and brands to achieve the right balance.
ØTo ensure the consumer strategy is closely followed and effectively implemented by the sales team and that the Sales Management system & Distributor Management system are fully implemented/elaborated and used to grow the business and provide first-hand market information to the company for strategy-making.
ØTo fully utilize the available resources and support functions to identify, develop and secure new business in strategic target areas and ensure that all customers receive professional service and training in order to strengthen BP & Castrol image and maximize sales.
ØTo Manage the Trade Marketing initiatives, make sure all trade initiatives follow the “Marketing Funnel” - in line with the Alchemy principles by closely working with the Marketing team.
ØTo be responsible for LTT, truck loan, technical support, customer relationship management, regional budget planning, credit control and expenses management.
ØTo corporate with OEM Sales team to assist in providing service to Franchised workshops.
ØTo analyse sales trends and gain a better understanding of business performance and enable corrective actions to be implemented.
ØTo pursue prompt payment from customers and regularly review the outstanding situation to ensure that financial exposure and bad debt risks are minimized.
ØTo be responsible for the budgeting process and managing the Departmental budget.
ØEnsures compliance with OMS and any supporting GDP’s - e.g. Driving Safety and any local legal requirements
Essential Education Academic Bachelor degree in mechanical / chemical engineering.
Essential experience and job requirements -At least 8 years sales and supervisory experience in consumer multinational company.
-Ability to communicate in English and Mandarin.
-Good people management skills and teamwork sense.
-Able to motivate and empower subordinates.
-Clear and logical thinker.
-Computer literate.
